We are currently helping our client with a direct hire search for a Search Engine Marketing Strategist.

Our client is seeking a Search Engine Marketing Strategist who is excited about online marketing and has in-depth experience producing high quality leads through Google, Bing, Facebook and other pay-per-click advertising channels. The SEM Strategist is a full-time role that will be a key contributing member of the company.

As an SEM Strategist, your main responsibility will be to take ownership of and manage the SEM/PPC and Social Media marketing lead generation strategy, its execution and analysis. You'll be focused on both SEM and Paid Social strategies. You will be developing all activities around increasing quality traffic, revenue, and profit. To be successful, you need to have a strong sense of ownership, be a self starter, and be passionate about online marketing. Strong analytical and communication skills are also required.

What You'll Do:
  • Account management of pay per click accounts on Google, Yahoo, Bing and other search platforms
  • Account management of advertising campaigns on social networks such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest etc.
  • Provide recommendations and execute strategies for keyword opportunities, campaign structuring, targeting, display network, and other aspects of paid search
  • Optimize the effectiveness of SEM/PPC to ensure positive ROI
  • Optimize campaigns on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to meet spend revenue and lead volume goals
  • Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, PPC related activities
  • Review SEM data for keyword insights and trends
  • Collaborate closely with marketing team members as well as other teams to deliver business goals
  • Work with Kenshoo bid management software and other leading PPC tools
  • Be knowledgeable and on top of all the latest SEM/PPC industry trends 
Skills & Experience
  • 4-year college degree, preferably in Marketing or a related field
  • 3+ years of professional SEM and Paid Social experience.
  • Google Adwords Search & Display Advertising Certifications.
  • SEM experience in lead generation
  • Advanced knowledge in PPC strategy, tactics and execution
  • Experience with Google Analytics or other analytics tools
  • Proven ability to build consensus and work effectively within a cross-departmental team
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • High levels of integrity, autonomy, creativity, and self-motivation
  • High-level proficiency in MS Excel
  • Remarketing, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Display experience is a huge plus
