We are currently helping our client with a Contractor search for a Payroll and HR Operations Support resource.
 
Duration:  1+ year (long term) great pay and benefits
Location:  Kirkland, WA  LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY

Title  Payroll & HR Operations Support
 
Required Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in applicable field of study
  • 3 years experience in payroll administration (multi-state) with desire to grow in other areas of HR as well
  • Experience working with Ultimate Software UltiPro is a plus
 Required Skills:
  • Strong computer skills including use of MS Office products, especially Excel
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required
  • Must be very well organized with high level ability to plan, prioritize, and take initiative to see multiple ongoing assignments to completion
  • Maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times
  Job Responsibilities:
  • Prepare/Process/Audit multistate bi-weekly payroll for approx 300 headcount
  • Process employee changes (new hires, termination, status changes, promotions, title changes, manager changes, transfers)
  • Audit non-exempt employee timecards for accuracy
  • Manage deductions (401k, FSA, deferred comp, garnishments)
  • Process gifts and imputed income
  • Process bonuses
  • Process relocations
  • Generate reports and GL for Finance department
  • Work with 401K plan administrator to receive change files and submit payroll files
  • May draft company-wide payroll related communications
  • Administer HR related documentation
  • Manage digital employee personnel files
  • Create and maintain org charts
  • EEO reporting compliance
  • Prepare and process quarterly 401k true-ups
  • Ensure federal and state labor law posters are up to date at all office locations and remote workers
  • Prepare bi-weekly and monthly reports for Senior Leadership team
  • Monitor, forward and respond to emails in the HR and payroll inbox
  • Coordinate HR team meetings and events
  • Schedule candidate drug test, physical evaluation, and psychological evaluations for specific safety sensitive roles.
  • Coordinate new employee onboarding Rise and Shines
  • Schedule and conduct new employee HRIS and payroll orientations
  • Assist in tracking HR projects through project management system (WorkOtter)
  • Assist the HR Operations Program Manager special projects as needed
  • Administer support to Director of Human Resources, HR Business Partners, and Compensation and Benefit Manager as needed
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned by the HR Operations Program Manager
